 Young Highland Dancers Glorious weather and a big crowd met Tartan Day in Martin Place, Sydney on 28 June.
The start of proceedings was delayed by another important cultural event running over time - the Gloria Jeans Franchisee of the Year!
Due to the late change in date only 6 clans were represented, however other than that all went well with lots of dancers, the band, and 9 "new Australians" in the Citizenship ceremony, including one Robert Burns!

Note too that the Australasian Highland Dance Championships are on this weekend (1/2 July) at Newington College.
