25 April 2006: ANZAC Day, Sydney 2006

On ANZAC Day 25 April, Clan MacNicol will be represented at the Scottish Act of Rememberance, Sydney, which is conducted at the conclusion of the general March starting about noon at St Andrews Cathederal marching back up George St to the Cenotaph in Martin Place for wreath laying. The wreath party leads, Clan members are welcome to follow, and the massed Bands from the entire March bands bring up the rear, this is a truely awesome event with the swirl of the pipes and drums retracing and concluding the March, then silenced for the ceremony, and marching off for the dismiss.

The assembly point is the corner of George and Bathurst Streets, Sydney at 12.30pm ready to march at 12.45pm or as soon as the main march finishes.

Maybe we will see you there!
